Open fires, ocean air, and food made with the kind of love you only find in someone's home.
Our Beachfront Restaurant
Right on the sands of Agonda Beach, Manveer's Kitchen is the beating heart of the resort. Owner and head chef Manveer has spent decades perfecting a menu that brings together the finest Goan seafood, slow-simmered Indian curries, wood-fired continental dishes, and handcrafted cocktails under the stars.
Guests consistently name the food here as the single best meal of their entire Goa trip. Warm, unhurried service. The sound of the surf. Every plate made with genuine, unhurried care.
Every morning our fishermen bring the overnight catch directly to the kitchen. No freezers for the fish — what's fresh is what's on the menu. Kingfish, prawns, crab, pomfret — chosen at the shore, on the plate by evening.
Herbs, chillies, and coconut come from our own garden and neighbouring farms. We work with local suppliers who share our belief that slower, kinder growing produces flavours that no import can replicate.
Nothing here is pre-cooked and reheated. Every dish is prepared fresh when you order it. Curries are simmered in batches through the day — never in bulk the day before. Good food asks for patience, and we gladly give it.
All served with choice of any two: Basmati Rice, Lemon Rice, Chips, Mashed Potato, Steamed Veggies, Sautéed Veggies or Salad
The Man Behind the Food
"I don't cook to impress. I cook the way my mother taught me — with patience, with feeling, and with whatever the sea brings in that morning."
Manveer Singh Dhaliwal is not just the owner of Forget Me Not Resort — he is its soul. Born and raised with a deep love of Punjabi home cooking, he moved to Goa over two decades ago and fell in love with the coast, the fish, and the unhurried rhythm of Agonda.
Over the years he developed a menu that is entirely his own: part Goan, part North Indian, part whatever the sea and season allow. There is no corporate recipe book in this kitchen. Just Manveer, his team, and the same instinct for hospitality he has always had.
When he is not in the kitchen, he is on the beach, greeting guests by name, recommending the evening's catch, and making sure that everyone who eats at his table leaves feeling cared for.

The food at Manveer's Kitchen was the best we had in all of Goa — and we ate everywhere. The fish curry alone was worth the entire trip. You can taste that it's made with real love.
Manveer is an exceptional chef and a genuinely warm human being. He came to our table each evening, told us what was freshest, and every plate he brought was extraordinary. I dream about the prawns.
Guests consistently describe meals here as the finest they've had in all of Goa. I now understand why. The butter chicken is perfection. We ended up staying an extra three days just for the food.
Dinner under the stars, the sound of the surf, and food made just for you. Walk-ins welcome — reservations always appreciated.
